Yes the Panasonic 7-14 gives up the weather sealing and the I am a god feeling that comes with picking up the Olympus lens. I have spent a good amount of time with both the 9-18mm and the 7-14mm wide zooms that Olympus offers. It is a definite step up from the Panasonic 7-14 and Olympus 9-18mm lens.
